Alpine Lake Hiking Elopement In Colorado

It always makes me so excited when we are the first people to break the news that getting eloped doesn’t have to be done in a court house! When Mitch and Raquel reached out to us about eloping- they weren’t sure what to expect. We quickly got on a call with them and explained how awesome it was that they were eloping in Colorado because it was so easy to do in a beautiful location. You can self-solemnize in Colorado, making it super convenient and more personal for eloping couples.

When we started planning Raquel and Mitch’s elopement, we did it in a 2 week timeline LOL. Yes you can plan an elopement in 2 weeks- its a bit more stressful but doable nonetheless. They picked a beautiful alpine lake location that was surrounded by mountain peaks and pines. We began to hike finding the perfect dressing room to change into their wedding clothes! After that they shared a beautiful first look in the pine area before they trekked to their vow reading spot next to the lake! They shared their vows and exchanged rings in between 360 views of mountains and it was amazing. After our fun adventure photoshoot we head back down as the sun began to set. Raquel and Mitch popped some bubbly to celebrate on the hike down. It ended up getting dark when we got back to our cars but it made the perfect setting for their first dance under the stars!
