Crested Butte Off-Roading Elopement
Aleshia & Cody wanted rent a cute jeep and off-road up a mountain for their elopement day. Cody proposed to her while they were off-roading on their side-by-sides back home in Michigan, so it was fitting to get married while also doing some off-roading! “We we’re riding the trails with our side by side when he made me think that something was wrong with it and not running correctly so he pulled over and had me get out and look at it and proposed right there on the side of the trail.”
Initially, the day was just going to be them two, but their parents ended up joining them last minute. They still wanted to have a day that was just them so they split their day up and had two ceremonies. One vow reading ceremony and one more traditional ceremony! They then went off-roading at sunset to one of our favorite mountain passes in Crested Butte!
Timeline of their day:
July Elopement | Sunset 8:30 PM | 8 hour coverage
- 11:30 PM- Meet at getting ready location. Start getting ready and details at this time. Your hair and makeup should be done or close to done by this time! (1 hour)
- 12:30 PM Start driving to CB ( 45 min)
- 1:15 PM Off-road to alpine lake. We can do fist look here!
- 2:00 PM- Read private vows at overlook
- 2:30 PM- Adventure around for photos
- 4:15 PM-Ceremony With family
- 4:30 PM-Celebrate with champagne pop. Then get some fun family photos!
- 5:00 PM– Start driving to private dinner in downtown Crested Butte
- 7:00 PM-Head over to get sunset photos at the lake!
- 8:30 PM End Coverage
