Fall Elopement In Telluride Colorado
When L+M first reached out to us it was clear that they wanted their day to be an adventure, they knew they wanted to hike and include their squishy baby Scout and picking Colorado in the fall made it easy to find just what they wanted. Fast forward to L&Ms elopement day taking us to Telluride, Colorado in the peak of fall. L+M started their day off getting ready in separate sections of their Airbnb. They also got scout into his adventure bandana before heading out separately to a nearby aspen grove where they would share their first look. After first look they decided to change into comfy clothes for their hike to make it easier to move and let the hike be a little more enjoyable.

During the hike we made our way through forested sections with aspens and pines and crossed over several sections of moving water and saw plenty of leaves fall on the leave filled trail. Scout lead most of the way up but we would expect nothing less from the big pup and after a couple of miles of steep switch backs we finally arrived to the beautiful blue lake. L&M changed back into their wedding clothes and found a perfect spot for vows, they then played a quick game of rock paper scissors to see would would go first.
After vows M surprised L with a gift, an album of their engagement secretly captured and kept secret until their elopement day. At this time storm clouds started making their way towards the lake and we snuck in a few portraits before the rain forced us back down the mountain.By the time we made it down the mountain we were all soaked and starving, we stopped for some snacks and more photos then met up with friends at the lake at the start of the trail for a quick ceremony. L+M literally tied the knot then signed their marriage license and they were able to have scout sign with his paw as well. Before the sun set we did a bit of off roading to a near by water fall where we got to explore until the sun went down. To end the day L+M met back up with their family at our camp site where they ate a well deserved pizza and made s’mores shared stories until the fire went out.

What L & M thought of their day:
If you are reading this you are probably considering eloping, or have made the decision to elope, right? Just do it! Pull the trigger, elope, and hire these two!!!!! You will absolutely not regret it. They are worth every penny! We have still yet to meet anyone who eloped, and regretted it. Go outside the social norm, and run away to get married
Laura and Hugo will make your adventure elopement the most epic and magical day alive. These two have such a great understanding of the area. Making them the perfect local guides to find you the best kept secrets of Colorado for the most epic photos ever! My wife and I are so extremely pleased with the whole process and the quality of photos we have. They were super easy to communicate with, and viciously fast to reply back. I personally am not a photogenic person, and they made me look like a super hero! These guys took so much stress away from our wedding day, making the experience of our marriage as natural and raw as possible which is exactly what we looked for in our elopement.
These two are super tough! Hiking up and down a mountain, enduring the sudden onset of weather, running us from place to place for our epic photos/video. We choose to do an all-day adventure, we also had a bucket list a mile long, they got everything we wished to accomplish completed successfully! Which these were no easy tasks, especially for how picky we were on our list. We also probably hiked over 10miles that day. These two smiled the whole time, and made our wedding day so much better than we ever could by ourselves.
These two also know how to step in to give you the killer epic shots you are probably looking for, but they also know when to distance themselves to let you and your significant other have the intimacy you’ll require. Yet, they always capture it. A prime example, I do NOT cry in front of anyone except my wife. After my wife obtained a very special letter for me from a very special family member I broke down. Ugly crying the whole 9 yards, and I forgot for a little while that these two were there to document that moment. Despite them being there our entire day. They also helped keep my wedding gift to my wife a complete secret, yet they got photos before and after revealing it to her.
Our dog was also my best man, the way these two interacted with him was not only professional, but extremely fun. They did all the boot work researching areas we can bring our dog. They also are extremely knowledgeable about the dog being the official witness on our marriage certificate. If you didn’t know about that being an option in Colorado, make sure to ask these guys when you do your official first consultation.
We were looking for someone that knew the area well, like a local. That would be professional in their quality and communication. Also, fun and positive to have around on our wedding day. We wanted someone to give us a natural experience, and support us in our way of getting married. These two pulled through and delivered on every promise during their busiest season. Run away, get married to the love of your life, and you would be a fool to not have these two document the whole thing!
