Garden Of The Gods Maternity Session- Colorado Springs
Nayeli + David wanted a picturesque place to celebrate the coming of their new baby and Garden of The Gods did not disappoint! The park is full of amazing red-rock formations nestled in between a mountain range which makes the perfect place to get your photos done. It is so diverse everywhere you turn so we highly recommend it even if its just a visit!
Why Should You Have Your Maternity Session Here
- Pregnant people-friendly.
Garden Of The Gods has many trail systems that take you to great looking spots, but you don’t have to really hike or walk far to get nice views! This makes it easier for pregnant mamas to get around safely and still have a sense of adventure in their photos.
- Epic, Unique Views
The park is super diverse with very different views than what you typically see around Colorado. There are still mountains but with a strong desert touch! There’s a lot of different plants and of course we can forget the actual rock formations that you’ll find everywhere.
- Open Year-Round
Reason #3 You should have your maternity photos done here because it is open year-round. Thankfully it is not at a high enough elevation to be covered in snow in the winter but it could happen. Always prepare for the weather though!
Best Time For Your Garden Of The Gods Maternity Session
The best time to have your maternity session here is in the spring or early summer! The weather is typically in the middle, not too hot or too cold. The plants are blooming and the days are a bit longer. We know you can really choose the weather when you are pregnant so no worries this place looks amazing any time of the year.
Also, this park gets super busy so we recommend going during the week for your session or try to get a sunrise session during the weekends! Parking can be a little hectic so if you are looking for a sunset session coming about an hour earlier is super helpful!
