Hybrid elopement with family at Sapphire Point
If you’re wondering what the heck a hybrid elopement even means, then you’re in the right place! We don’t know if it’s the best term to describe it, but it means having an elopement and also having a small wedding with family. This allows you to have the best of both worlds: read you vows and have an adventure privately and then later in the day meet up with family for a formal ceremony and reception!
Taylor and Cole did just that. They planned a whole day where they still had elements of a small wedding with their loved ones but read their vows privately at an epic location surrounded by mountains. They adventured around and had a photoshoot up there before heading over to meet their family at Sapphire Point which is an affordable, reservable location for wedding ceremonies of up to 30 people. They were able to hold a ceremony for their families, get photos with them and then all head over to their rental to celebrate with a mini reception!

2:00 PM Private vow reading
2:15 PM Start adventuring and portraits!!
3:15 PM Drive to Sapphire Point
4:00 PM Family Ceremony at Sapphire Point
4:30 PM Pop Champagne to celebrate, maybe a toast then start family photos
5:30 PM Get a few more portraits done around the lake!
6:00 PM Drive back to Airbnb
6:30 PM First Dance and any other activities you are doing. If you are cutting cake we can do a fake one slice cut for the photo but it’s up to you :)
