Winter Elopement at Sprague Lake

M & J wanted to elope at one of the best national parks, Rocky Mountain. It is the most epic place to elope for many reasons but it is our favorite in the winter because it is magical and less busy. They got ready together, read vows at the designated ceremony spot at at Sprague Lake before finishing off their adventure by hiking up to break lake and walked all over the ice for some epic photos.

What M & J thought about their day:

We couldn’t have asked for a better elopement experience! My husband and I got engaged during the pandemic, so planning a wedding was tough. 2.5 years later, we already had a trip to Denver planned and last minute decided to elope! I found Together We Roam Photo, aka Laura and Hugo, while looking for adventure elopement photographers and videographers. Since our elopement was just us two, we knew we wanted to capture those moments throughout the day that our friends and family would have been part of. Communicating with Laura and Hugo was super easy! They sent out a questionnaire and we had a Zoom consultation to help us determine the best place to have the ceremony and take pictures. Since they’re Colorado natives, they knew all of the best spots. They also provided a timeline for the day of, which was helpful since we didn’t have a coordinator. On the day of our elopement, they arrived early and made everything feel special. My husband and I are not big on being center of attention, but Laura and Hugo made us feel like we’re pros. They were also super thoughtful and brought snacks in case we needed them and offered to carry out backpacks throughout the hike! When we received our photos and videos, we were absolutely thrilled! Laura made sure to arrange all of the accessories in an artsy way, and Hugo captured parts of the day I hadn’t even thought of, like walking up the trail together. As someone that’s worked in marketing, I can also say they delivered high quality, high res photos/video, and yes, in 4K. I saw a lot of other videographers who did not provide that and I knew that was something we’d want. Most importantly, we really vibed with them and the next time we’re in Denver, we totally plan on hanging out. The photos and videos speak for themselves, if you choose Together We Roam, you will not disappointed!
