Mountain Elopement at Ymca of the Rockies

Wedding Day at ymca of the rockies

Getting photobombed by nature is the best way to get married. Amanda and Zacharey initially planned to have their wedding at the YMCA of the Rockies at Estes Park. Due to Covid-19 they had to rearrange their plans and made the decision to have a small elopement with the people who mattered most at an outdoor chapel overlooking the Colorado Rockies!

They ended up renting cabins near the location and got ready with their families. During their ceremony, a deer photobombed their ceremony pictures- making the day extra special since during their engagement session, they got photobombed by a moose too! After their ceremony they shared a first dance on the chapels deck with big beautiful mountains surrounding them.

We took the rest of the afternoon to adventure at Rocky Mountain National Park, because why would you not? We saw marmots and rainbows and the most amazing mountain scenery that Rocky Mountain National Park offers. It was a blast working with Amanda and Zacharey and we love that they didn’t see this pandemic as a big problem to the only thing that mattered most to them: Getting married!
